I really like some of the others have already mentioned (CSSplay and Lightbridge are sweet), but as others have mentioned, with CSS and HTML you're options are limited. For smart and automated, you'll probably need to add some scripting, otherwise it becomes a very manual process in updating the gallery.
I read 'More Eric Meyer on CSS', same philosophy as others I saw later, learned and adapted it. The bells and whistles I added included a JavaScript tooltip popup (can now be done in CSS), image and content management using php/mysql, and integration with JavaScript slideshows. With what I've gotten from this group, I could convert to CSS rollovers as well. I've still got some work to do to clean up/organize the CSS and code and add documentation, but you are welcome to take a look. To some extent I think it becomes a question of what is 'not annoying' to the visitor rather than what is 'possible'. If you take a look at any of the galleries, the CSS is readily available. Visti: http://dottedi.biz/dg1.php?gallery_id=1 Sorry just haven't had time to set up any templates or packages. -Bob Erin Spangler wrote: >Hello all, > >I'd like to add a gallery to a site that I'm creating.
