A couple of thoughts.....

IE for Mac has been discontinued and is no longer available for  
download on the MS site. So, one school of thought would be to ignore  
the problem.

Another would be, depending on your programming language, to put a  
switch in there that detects IE Mac and then displays the height:  
400px only for IE Mac users.
