I found the answer, Don't use a centered list! I went back to the way I
was doing it:
"• Then the text for the list item."
This way, I am putting in the bullet (•) and the whole line will
center. Because none of these lines were going to a second line, I did
not need the indent of the second line that the UL/LI gives.
