Thanks for the detailed replies - looks like I have a bit more reading to do. I'm curious as to what happens then with Safari swapping fonts to simulate italic text... http://alistapart.zeldman.com/2006/11/27/safari-beats-firefox/ What if the "next font on the list" appears noticably different in size to the current?
