I don't know whether to write it off as a bug or as a browser-specific "feature". It is definitely an unexpected effect, as Jukka mentioned. > Naughty Georg. :-) ( meow! ) > I wouldn't recommend the use of this, however, as those keywords are > quite unpredictable in IE when using em-based 'width' (or 'height') > on boxes. Indeed. It is a purely academic exercise - as requested, which only purpose may be to show how one should *not* play around with a browser's peculiarities if one wants some predictability. To continue the exercise down the buggy road: I have updated the demo with an 'em font-resizing bug' fix, which if one resizes to smallest in IE/win will leave the h2 headline with a font-size of 1.4em, larger than the h1 headline with a font-size of 1.8em. regards Georg -- http://www.gunlaug.no ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
