That method relies on the goodwill of each visitor.

Opera, Firefox and Safari have 'minimum font size' options built in, and
Firefox just happens to have that option set to "none" by default, while
the others have an actual value. Font-size can not go below that value.
In IE/win your font-size can be "ignored".

At my end the "shrinking" is controlled by 'minimum font size =14px', in
Firefox, Opera and Safari, and they all treat that page more or less
identical.
