1 4 7 2 5 8 3 6 9 I read the article "Do You Want To Do That With CSS? - Multiple Column Lists" [1] by Holly Bergevin and John Gallant online about how to display lists across multiple columns and make the item order follow the columns rather than flow along the rows.
At the end they round off the article with the sentence "this technique is only useful for static pages, and cannot be made to easily work in a dynamic page where unknown numbers of list items may be included ...." ... which is a slight drawback since that's exactly what I'd like to do! Is there any way to change the flow in the browser to vertical, like for instance with Chinese text? Or am I dreaming?
