Well, yes, it's really nice to see so many things fixed :-)) I haven't checked too much, but re floats, I confirm that there are some new problems with the clearing. They range from the simple fact that a clearing <br> doesn't work [1], to the fact that floats moved (via negative margins) fully outside they containers seem ignored by clearing/enclosing methods [3].
