Another possibility would be to wrap the section of your page that 
contains those particular paragraphs in a div, give the div an ID 
"id=index", then in your stylesheet add something like:

#index.p { /* do stuff with paragraphs inside my div */ }

Might be easier than going through assigning classes to all those 
paragraphs.
