Thanks for your reply. The URL I gave above was changed to remove the image which was causing the issue. The test case is at http://www.sunbuild.biz/indextest.php However, I like the idea of setting the fixed width, but am uncertain if a) it should be set on #container and b) if doing that will limit the scalability of the site when under font-resizing stress.
