I have problems to detect if my DTD (and whatnot) are correct.
What, there is no way to check for quirksmode? Or did I ask wrongly, or
indecently?
First, a quick google turned up lots of responses [1] to "how to check for
Quirksmode"
IIRC, IE 8s msn developer extension will reveal quirksmode as will FF
developer extension. Haven't used them for that purpose for a while because
we only develop sites using a "complete doctype" normally a Strict 401
Doctype, but it depends on the clients needs.
And it's always nice to provide a link (or a test page) to the page(s) in
question so the list can better assist you.
