Ok, finally figured this one out. It is Opera's "Minimum Font Size" setting that is causing the problem. This is set to 9px by default. I'm sure the developers of Opera had good intentions when implementing this. However, one would think that they would have realized that font sizes less than 9px can be used as a graphical effect. Does anyone know if this can be overriden?
