Doh, sorry for the bad example I provided (or, at least I should've provided an explanation of what I was testing). The rules are just for the sake of dividing the <div>s with <p>s that will show if the min-device-pixel-ratio is 1.5 or above. If you view that page with an iPhone 4 (for example) you should see 3 black boxes appear with white paragraph text. My goal is to feed @2x graphics to 1.5 device-pixel-ratio and above. My latest project requires that I have just a few small UI graphics and I figured that few @2x (under 1KB) PNG graphics would cause much harm on 1.5 device-pixel-ratio devices. > Nevertheless, it works in the sense that the top/bottom rules do not > throw an horizontal scroll-bar in portrait or landscape mode at +3 > font-scaling in Android/2.6.3 [a low end android touch screen]. Thanks for checking! Sorry that I did not explain what I was looking for... But that does tell me that the retina display MQs are working for the Android device you mention (I assume that it's not 1.5 and/or above pixel density.) Thanks again for the help David! I owe you one. :) Cheers, Micky ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [css-d@lists.css-discuss.org] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
