Hello, Inch is a print measurement in North America because printing presses are specified in inches, and paper is sold in inches, monitors are spec'd in pixels, so if you want a pixel-perfect placement then pixels are the measurement to use. 99.9% of the time I try to keep things flexible and use the em and percentages to spec for the web.
