What if you don't have an iPhone or a Mac to begin with, there is no other options besides Chrome, or am I wrong ?

True, how does one compare how Chrome emulates a device ?

Well, not sure on chrome, but you can use safari on a mac to inspect element on safari iphone. just plug your iphone into your mac. open safari on your phone. go to your page on your phone. then look at safari on your desktop. Under the menu "Develop" you will see your phones name. hover over it and it should show you an inspect element option for the page on your safari mobile.
