I hope that I'm not off topic with this.
Why does markup like this:
<p<!-- Comment -->>Greeting</p>
Render like this:
>Greeting
IOW, where is the extraneous '>' coming from? The '>' that immediately
preceeds 'Greeting' only closes the p tag. The other one only closes
the comment. I'm lost. Thanks for any input.
