Yep.  I had actually seen this article.  IMHO it's definitely a work
around and I can see problems outside the fixed-width arena.

Although I have yet to try it., the JS approach is very intriguing.
It's just an application of manipulating the DOM so it goes right
along with the other things that we will likely be doing particularly
if any AJAX is being employed.  Conceptually, I see this as being a
pretty darn good solution.
