The Egyptian chronology cites the kings list of Manethos and the available hieroglyphics. The first archaeological date taken as absolutely defined was until now the destruction of Thebes by Assurbanipal in 664 BC (common era). Before that is a vast gaping discrepancy as Egyptian and Jewish chronology don’t have a consistent synchronised connection. The Hyksos invasion in Egypt dated 1759 BC and the exodus of the Israelites with Moses from Egypt to 1210 BC >> Not such a new idea. Immanuel Velikovsky explored this in his "Ages In Chaos." Had establishment science not been totally dedicated to eradicating Velikovsky's ideas, things could have been set straight long ago, but validating Velikovsky would not do anyone's career any good. Stealing his ideas as one's own is permissable, however, since everyone in academia knows the man never existed. Anything he spoke about can still be considered original work.
