-Caveat Lector- A Commemorative Millennium Bank Note WELLINGTON, Feb 5 (Reuters) - The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) said on Friday it would issue a special NZ$10 bank note later this year to commemorate the new millennium. ``We will be releasing up to three million millennium bank notes into general circulation, so that members of the public can keep these notes as millennium souvenirs,'' Brian Lang, the chief manager of the bank's currency department, said in a statement. Special collector's packs would also be available, he added. ``The millennium bank note will be printed on the same flexible plastic that is soon to be used for all New Zealand bank notes,'' Lang said. The bank note will incorporate new technology security features, which are to be tested for future use with other plastic bank notes. For security reasons, the final design of the bank note would not be released until shortly before it was issued, Lang said.
