Now, having made total asses of themselves, the Republicans who lose their seats in
the next election--because voters will remember--are preparing the ground to claim
Clinton's Revenge?
For years, the Republicans, using funds from such groups as Richard Mellon Scaife's
Heritage Foundation, and like organizations, have spent untold millions on privately
funded mailing campaigns to defeat Democratic candidates. They could do this simply
because the money was available to them.
One didn't need to go to FBI or IRS files to learn that Trent Lott had lied "under
oath"
regarding his business affiliations. Or that Barr, Lott, and others maintain ongoing
affiliations to conservative organizations that are based primarily on shared racial
bias.
--in other words, white supremacists. --If most voters remember these things....and it
is the Democrats job to remind them--they will likely lose seats in the next election.
That will be the voters' revenge, not Clinton's.
Which is not to say that both parties aren't essentially the same, their strings pulled
by the same marionette masters.
