The anti-flag burning crapola that the veterans groups start up annually is so
insipid that I hate to comment...but, I will.
Burning the flag is protected by the 1st Amendment, as long as it's YOUR flag
you can do what you wish with/to it. Have the so-called pro-flag forces ever
heard of dissent? Clearly the handful of flag-burnings that happen yearly
aren't a threat to ANYBODY but by all the rabble that you on the right rouse
whenever these rare events happen you sure give those who wish to protest US
policy a powerful tool.
Plain and simple- If you want to burn a flag, any flag, just make sure it's
your own. If that's done I haven't a problem.
