By the way, there are two references to Jefferson Davis that I have run
across; one said he was Catholic; the other said he was baptzed
Episcopalean...(wow, hope I spelled hat right - now and then I really
commit a spelling atrocity)......and Robert E. Lee, belonged to the same
church which was a meeting ground for Confederates (Yes We Shall Meet By
the River.....and DooDah)
Also the old Know Nothing Party.....I Timothy 6 - I believe this is
where they took their name. Was very happy to read the story about the
Judas, Brutus and a Spy.....this stuff is still fascinating.
