<<The Clinton administration and congressional Republicans are now fighting
over how much information to make public about China's acquisition of some of
the most sensitive U.S. military secrets... MORE...

The Senate Intelligence Committee is now negotiating with the Clinton
administration over how much can be made public in connection with the probe.

Without a compromise, there could be a constitutional clash between Congress
and the White House because both the administration and the House have the
power to declassify information, says the paper. >>

Why not, just one time, let us hear the whole truth?

<<One Hill source tells Gerth: "It's the National Security Council. leading
the fight with the other agencies weighing in. The Energy Department is
worried about the stuff at the labs. The intelligence community is worried
about disclosing their sources and methods. And the FBI and the Justice
Department are concerned about on-going criminal investigations." >>

Notice there is not one word about how this could affect the people of the
United States. These agencies are only worried about their privacy, something
they took away from every citizen years ago. A government that covers itself
in secrecy is a government of lies. Throw the liars out of government and we
have no more government... Can we vote on this... Can we force these liars to
come clean and tell all the truth... I guess that would be like forcing the
President to tell the truth... never happen.

Excellent post Bard.
