are calling on city officials to revoke a permit for an Easter street party
thrown by a theater troupe of habit-wearing drag queens known as the Sisters

by Electrolux, the Swedish company that developed the modern ice box nearly
80 years ago, can tell you what's inside without having to open the door.
The same colorful panel indicates whether you've got the right ingredients
on hand for a particular recipe, and can display a video of a chef preparing
the same meal. A pause button freezes the video when you need time to catch
up. You can also send e-mail, watch TV, leave voice and video messages for
the family, check the time and date, and even start a separate oven with a
phone call, perhaps from your car, so it's ready to start cooking when you
