22 American Cities have now passed Resolutions opposing the USA "Un"Patriot Act, which was passed without the congress having even read it. More cities are in the process of passing similar Resolutions. This Act virtually shreds the Constitution and Bill of Rights, it is a tyrant's dream and is totally incompatible with the ideals and traditions of a free people. Below is a link to a Resolution to be considered by the city of Austin, TX. With minor changes this format can be used as a template to make and present a Resolution before your local, city, and county governments.
