MIDDLEBURG -- Linda Tripp is going into business with the Christmas Sleigh, a year-round holiday shop scheduled to open next month in Virginia horse country. After her involvement in the impeachment proceedings against President Bill Clinton, Tripp moved to a cottage near Middleburg, about 40 miles west of Washington. ``It's pretty discreet -- that's why Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis moved here, because they left her alone,'' said Dee Dee Hubbard, president of the Middleburg Business Association. ``We've had bigger and more important celebrities. I've got Liz Taylor, Robert Duvall, Paul Mellon, John Kent Cooke. And then Linda Tripp? People here aren't star-struck.'' Four years ago, Tripp handed independent counsel Kenneth Starr tape- recorded conversations with Monica Lewinsky in which Lewinsky confided a sexual relationship with then-President Clinton. Tripp was later fired from her job at the Pentagon. Tripp's lawyer, David Colapinto, told The Washington Post that she would not comment on the store because she is recovering from breast cancer, diagnosed last March. He said Tripp does not own the store. Tripp and her daughter, Allison, 23, a senior at Radford University, are listed with proprietor Dieter Rausch as ``partners or officers'' of the firm, Atila LLC on the store's business license application. Rausch did not return messages left at a home number that is the same as Linda Tripp's. Ryan Tripp, 27, a waiter at the Red Fox Inn in Middleburg, said his mother is going to help with the store. ``Since she's moved out here, she's been looking to do something.
