It contains 1069 footnotes, relying on "mainstream" sources. It does not present a "right wing" thesis. It contends not that "the Jews killed JFK" or that "the Mossad killed JFK" and it has nothing to do with the Holocaust or "Holocaust denial." The book simply contends that the Mossad played a front line role alongside the CIA in the JFK assassination. Why would the Mossad be involved, of all things, you ask? For the simple reason that JFK was trying to stop Israel from building the nuclear bomb, along with, in general, refusing to accede to Israel's foreign policy demands on the United States. And until you have studied JFK's Middle East policy (which has been ignored by virtually all of the JFK assassination researchers, you cannot be a "naysayer" as far as my theory is concerned. Where is the mossad connection? Clay Shaw. Shaw served on the board of Permindex. The chairman of Permindex was Louis Bloomfield of Montreal, longtime attorney for the Bronfman family (as in Edgar Bronfman, now headof the World Jewish Congress). Bloomfield was also a leader in the pro-Israel lobby of Canada. Shaw's close friends in New Orleans were the Stern family who were also major backers of Israel and, for those of you who want to find 'right wing" connections, note that the Sterns also served on the board of the Information Council of the Americas. So they weren't as "liberal" as some would suggest. As far as Permindex is concerned, another israeli link is Rabbi Tibor Rosenbaum of the Banque De Credit Internationale. Rosenbaum was a longtime high-level Mossad figure and he was a key playerin the Permindex web. Rosenbaum's bank was also the chief European money laundry for the Meyer Lansky Syndicate. And don't forget that in the CIA, the key CIA player in the assassination and the cover-up was undoubtedly James Jesus Angleton. Angleton, in case you didn't know it, was the head of the Mossad desk at the CIA and a very devoted supporter of Israel. So there's another Mossad connection for you. And as far as Guy Banister is concerned, his two close 'right wing" friends were Kent and Phoebe Courtney who were both very pro-Israel. Plus,Banister also did contract work for the New Orleans office of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) of B'nai B'rith (headed in New Orleans by A. I. Botnick. Botnick was an extreme anti-communist who believed that the civil rights movement was a communist movement and he hired out Banister's services to infiltrate left-wing groups. Wonder if maybe LHO was doing that kind of work? There is also the matter of the so-called "French connection" and Oliver Stone does not get into this, but many JFK researchers do. I contend that the French connection is also the Israeli connection. And bear in mind that the Banister-Shaw group in New Orleans were connected to the French OAS plots against Degaulle if we are to believe all of the supporters of Oliver Stone's movie and his basic thesis. (And Stone himself, in JFK: THE BOOK OF THE FILM, does mention the French OAS connections of the gang in New Orleans.) In THE KENNEDY CONSPIRACY, Paris Flammonde makes the connection between permindex and the OAS. Now here are some further details. There is no question, based on the writings of "mainstream" historians, that the French OAS was tied inextricably with the Mossad. Citations: # Israeli historian Benjamin Beit-Hallahmi, writing in THE ISRAELI CONNECTION: WHO ISRAEL ARMS AND WHY, says Generals Raoul Salan and Maurice Challe (who were OAS leaders) were, along with others, "known as israel's friends in France." He also points out that after Challe was released from prison for his parts in the anti-DeGaulle plots, that Challen was hired to serve as President of Zim, Israel's largest shipping concern. (As I point out in my book, FINAL JUDGMENT, Zim was owned by Shaul Eisenberg, a longtime Mossad asset who was also a business partner with Geneva-based banker (and Lansky money launderer) Tibor Rosenbaum, the banker for Permindex and a Mossad arms financer in his own right, in the Swiss-Israel trade bank. # Beit-Hallahmi also points out that Jacques Soustelle was another of "Israel's friends in France." Soustelle was a major critic of Degaulle's Algerian policy and as French Atomic Energy Minister, according to Israeli historian Avner Cohen in ISRAEL AND THE BOMB points out, was a major player in the French effort to help Israel build the nuclear bomb (before both Degaulle reversed his position on the issue). Paris Flammonde in THE KENNEDY CONSPIRACY describes Soustelle as a "munificent contributor" to the OAS and Pierre Demaret and Christian Plume in TARGET DEGAULLE say that Soustelle hid out in Italy in the home of the brother of a former Israeli Irgun figure when he (Soustelle) was on the run from Degaulle. # Historian Alexander Harrison in CHALLENGING DEGAULLE: THE OAS AND THE COUNTER-REVOLUTION IN ALGERIA says that "some of the most ardent supporters of the oas in Algeria were Jews" and that "a jewish branch of the OAS was created." Another historian, Paul Henissart, in WOLVES IN THE CITY: THE DEATH OF FRENCH ALGERIA, says that the OAS "attracted hotheads including some Jews who belonged to Irgun Zvai Leumi . . . recruited by the OAS." Henissart says also that while there were Jewish defense groups established in Algeria, "official Israeli delegations in Algeria to organize emigration of jews from thecoastal cities were not averse to aiding these self-dfense groups. The Israeli government, however, never confirmed any connection with them." # The aforementioned Beit-Hallahmi also says that "During 1961 and 1962 there were numerous reports of Israeli support for the French OAS movement." This Israeli historian also quotes British writer Stewart Steven, author of THE SPYMASTERS OF ISRAEL, saying that when the OAS was created that it was a "natural development" that Israel, as keen on French retention of Algeria as a colony "should lock themselves into the [OAS]." Is it necessary for me to belabor this point any further? The OAS was indeed linked to the Mossad and those who bother to take the time to read my book FINAL JUDGMENT will find the whole story, plus lots, lots more. But then, we should mention the fact that Stone himself has an Israeli connection and that might explain why we don't get the whole story. The Israeli-born Hollywood producer who financed Oliver Stone's JFK assassination epic has been linked to Israel's nuclear weapons intrigue. Imagine if it had been an Arab arms dealer who had financed the movie! Oliver Stone is widely known as the creative genius behind the controversial motion picture, JFK. However, the film's executive producer--the man who actually put up the money to make the movie--is little known outside Hollywood's inner circles.His name is Arnon Milchan. And although he's now a major player in the film industry, the Israeli-born Milchan was described in the May 18, 1993 edition of The Nation as one Israel's llargest arms dealers In 1985 Milchan's name popped up in a United States federal criminal inquiry into covert efforts by Israel to obtain U.S. nuclear weapons technology. A Huntington Beach, California, computer engineer, Richard K. Smyth, was indicted by the Justice Department on charges that he had illegally exported 800 electronic timing devices (known as "krytons") that can be used to trigger nuclear bombs. The recipient of the illegal exports was Milchan's Heli Trading Co., based in Israel. Smyth, a former advisor to NATO and the U.S. Air Force, told investigators that he was involved with Milchan in a joint venture, Milco (based in Huntington Beach), that had shipped the nuclear devices to Heli Trading. According to Smith, the Israeli government had provided "encouragement" to the endeavor. Milchan, however, said he had nothing to do with the Milco company (the company name notwithstanding) and that he knew nothing about the alleged kryton exports.Milchan said further that all Heli business was in the hands of its Israeli managers. Milchan's hands were clean.According to Milchan:"At the end of the day, [a moviemaker like Milchan] can't be expected to read scripts, go to marketing meetings and still worry about everything else" Despite Milchan's denials, Robert Mainhardt, one of two nuclear scientists on Milco's board of directors, contradicted Milchan's claims about having no knowledge of Milco's affairs In a 1993 interview with NBC, Mainhardt, who had been involved in the development of the hydrogen bomb, said that he (Mainhardt) quit Milco after Milchan asked him to obtain nuclear reactor designs and a uranium compound needed for Israel's nuclear bomb-making program.NBC also unveiled coded Milco records that revealed the sales of other classified items to Israel and reported that one source said that Milchan's company had sold Israel enough rocket fuel to propel all of Israe's long-range missiles. Perhaps to mitigate the scandal, the Israeli government returned 460 of the 800 nuclear devices saying that the materiel had nothing to do with Israel's nuclear bomb program, which, of course, then (as now) was officially denied by the Israelis. According to the Israelis, the krytons were to be used only for development of conventional weapons .In the end, before he could be brought to trial, Milchan's partner, Smyth, disappeared. According to NBC, citing U.S. authorities, Smyth had taken refuge in Israel in the high-toned Tel Avia suburb of Herilya Pitua.NBC also conducted an interview with Arthur Biehl, a former director of hydrogen bomb design at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, who told NBC that he had gone to the FBI after Milchan introduced him to an Israeli official who wanted to gain access to nuclear weapons and delivery vehicles for nuclear weapons without going through official [i.e. U.S. government] channels. Oliver Stone had excuses for his relationship with Milchan. "I've heard the rumors," Stone told The Los Angeles Times, "but, then, I've always had a penchant for larger-than-life pirates. If Arnon comes from an arms or defense background, well, so did Rhett Butler. If those stories are true, I'm sure Arnon sees himself as a patriot Somebody should tell Mr. Stone (who may be confusing reality with his motion pictures) that Rhett Butler, the swashbuckling Confederate arms smuggler in Gone With the Wind, was a fictional character. Milchan's arms deals, however, were very real, Stone's typically artistic explanation notwithstanding. And by the way, has anyone bothered to find out what happened when Jim Garrison's family sued these big Hollywood types after they were bilked out of the profits that Milchan and company made from JFK.
