is how were Hurley and Lovejoy connected? When
Hurley took fifty confidential informants who should
not have ever seen each other or known who the others'
DEA handlers were and paraded them at lunch in front
of a delegation of Bulgarians, that was the capstone on
plausible deniability for any linkage to CIA in particular.
Lovejoy was also deniable in that he was a double agent
for hire by any party, thus conceivably by the Iranians.
How did Loo Choy learn from Hurley's operation that McKee
and Gannon would be on PanAm 103 the next day? How
would he be expected to handle that end? Would he be
expected to need help? Loo Choy must have been using US
assets because the Iranians would have been in a far better
position to use Lebanese assets on Cyprus to snoop and bug
Hurley(DEA Cyprus).
