Thomas Malthus, 1798, "An Essay on the Principle of Population as it Affects the Future Improvement of Society" Malthus was a wildly popular and much praised political economist among the British aristocracy of his time. His "Malthusian principle" is still taken very seriously by pundits and planners and elites: THERE IS NOT ENOUGH TO GO AROUND AND THERE NEVER WILL BE---THAT IS A LAW OF NATURE. It's no surprise that Charles Darwin was a great admirer of Malthus. Contrary to what many believe, Darwin's theory about the survival of the fittest was not hijacked by thinkers who applied it to the human race; Darwin himself saw that idea as a prescription for social and political action. In this, he was a forerunner of various eugenics and depopulation schemes. At the core of groups like the Bilderbergers, the Council on Foreign Relations, Skull and Bones, the British Roundtable, and the Rockefeller octopus, the depopulation agenda is held high (albeit secretly). This agenda walks hand in hand with colonialism and neo-colonialism. The program is: natural resources on the planet must be taken over and the poor must be debilitated and eliminated. Among these secret elite groups, there is no longer a line drawn between believing that scarcity is the fundamental state of human affairs and ACTING TO MAKE IT SO. In truth, there never was such a line. The great towering figure of Bucky Fuller ran this program into a wall at a thousand miles an hour. Fuller floated the fantasic idea that abundance was the natural condition, and he set about to prove it. We all live in a vast sea of energy. The idea that we are running out of it is a vicious piece of propaganda designed to enforce the Malthusian world view. As I have written many times, if a fraction of the government assistance (and protection) doled out to oil and nuclear power over the decades were transferred to a REAL Manhattan Project to develop alternative fuels, we would be living in a quite different world. It has taken a massive amount of propaganda and force to keep this great step stalled on the sweating, slaving, starving, crawling ramp of human progress. Behind all the war and aggression based on obtaining and controlling oil, there is an elite that wants to impart the hypnotic idea that oil is our only option. And what better way to do that than by presenting these wars as evidence that the thing being fought over must be the most valued and necessary item on the planet. It's a very, very old trick. And it's long past the moment when we should all grow up. Stage magic and sleight of hand are delightful amusements---on a stage---but when they slink and slither behind wars that tear apart bodies, we had better cut all the cords that hook us to the propaganda nightmare. Imagine that somewhere there is a vast, vast shelf that holds an excess of diamonds and gold and heroin and food and perhaps even oil---and that shelf is the place where SCARCITY is bolstered and made real by CRIMES.
