if this is true edison made a killing machine to malign a business rival's
product. apparently he had gotten used to having his way; maybe he took a
lot of pride in it. the system would have us believe that he was the
kindly old bespectacled, so-called "father of invention"; when he was more
like a money grubbing, greedy, "f*ck you if you don't like it", in your
face, rip off artist and a very fine example of the best capitalism can
produce. who can, in the historical sense, go to hell. how many more of
these icons that the system puts before us as exemplifying "the best of
humanity" are also weasels worthy only of contempt.
i remember when i was a kid there were still remnants of this media
campaign against a.c. i remember being confused and thinking that if a.c.
was that much more dangerous that d.c. was not a killer. it is a good
thing that i did not try putting this into practice because a person can
be just as dead with either a.c. or d.c. thank you mr. edison for the
error.
