West symbolizes death in ancient cultures which would explain the fatality caused by the twister. Taurus is symbolic of the ancient Egyptian god Seth who killed Osiris with chaos and mayhem, two attributes which were physically manifested as the tornado. The Mormon Church was originally founded in Illinois by Joseph Smith, a Freemason, and it was no accident that the twister missed the Mormon Temple in downtown Salt Lake City.
