-Caveat Lector-

>I fail to see how the discussion relates to conspiracy theories

Obviouslyit's because Christians seem to think the entire world revolves
around them and their religion. In all fairness I must point out that so
do Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Marxists and Buddhists. Buddhists are the least
obnoxious about it in that they at least don't try to cram it down your
throat at the point of a gun. They will talk your ear off, though, if you
let 'em. And as far as I'm concerned, anybody who doesn't want to be
reincarnated is so utterly clueless about the nature of life that I'm not
really interested in anything else they have to say about it either,
particularly about how I oughta live mine. But I also don't wanna hear it
from Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus or Marxists. So bug off, the lot of
you and let's get back to the subject.

> The elements of the gay rights movement that use in your face tactics;
use counterproductive measures to acheive any form of social acceptance.

This is exactly what I used to hear white people say about African
Americans during the Civil Rights struggle. Yet the historical fact
remains, Black people never got a shred of respect in this country, or
much of anything else either (except used and abused), until some of them
started burning the place down.
