-Caveat Lector-
KS, I have always believed the fig tree-Israel parable until recently. Now
I'm not so sure. Where in the Bible does God ever refer to Israel as a fig
tree? She is always the olive tree. It very well could be refering to
something else. It could be refering to the tree that Adam and Eve hid in
when they ate the fruit of knowledge. Who know? We've been taught what all
of the prophesies mean by men instead of letting the Holy Spirit interpret
them for us. Daniel's 70 weeks, a time, times and half a time. All of those
things are NOT solved by any means.
