This ECHELON stuff is a real hoot.  Maggie and other things are mentioned in
Christopher Hitchens article in the latest (Mar 20,2000) issue of THE NATION.
 What is hilarious is the part where they've been denying for weeks that
there's been any industrial/commercial spying, but it seems the NSA monitored
all traffic between European Airbus Consortium and Saudi Arabian Airlines to
help get the $6 billion Saudi contract for Boeing and McDonnell-Douglas.  Oh
well, what are friends for?  Prudy
