Let me also add that HTML takes up 4 times the bandwidth of the same
amount of plain text.
URL's I don't have a problem with because they take up less space than
copy/paste the whole text. I don't surf while I'm reading my email. I
write them down and type them into my browser window later, after I
close all other applications. That way I don't lose data when the
computer totally freezes up, like it does for some web sites. Best bet
is still a good virus detection program, like Norton
http://www.norton.com or McAfee http://www.mcafee.com installed on your
machine. I have McAfee's VShield configured to run constantly,
beginning at startup. On Windows systems, click Start, Programs, McAfee
Virus Scan, VShield Configuration Manager. You'll know it's running
when the red, white and blue shield-shaped icon appears on your taskbar
next to the clock. And if you must download an attachment from an
email, save it to a floppy, run your virus detection program over the
floppy, THEN open the file. You can't be THE ONE who blows the whole
conspiracy shebang out of the water, becoming the world's hero/heroine,
if your computer is down with a virus.

Tenorlove,
who is still waiting for a re-post of the original message
