Yes, but the key in that statement is 'regardless of the Elian thing'.
Before the raid, the figures could have read the same.  Before the raid,
perhaps even LESS people felt secure.

The only thing that poll can tell us is that the majority of people do
not feel secure within their own homes.  It tells us nothing as to WHY
they may feel that way.
