FBI, Police Block Process for Reno
A process server sent to hand deliver a notice of suit against
Janet Reno in Miami today was told he won't be able to so.
Though federal law clearly states that no one can prevent a legal
notice that is to be delivered by a process server, that's just
what happened this afternoon in Miami's Bal Harbour.
Reno is set to speak before a legal group tonight at the Bal
Harbour Sheraton.
Judicial Watch's Klayman said it would be a great opportunity to
hand Reno her notice that she had been sued this week for $100
million by Donato Dalrymple. Dalrymple is alleging that Reno and
the feds violated his civil rights when they crashed through the
Gonzalez's front door with machine guns.
When Judicial Watch's process server showed up at the Sheraton
this afternoon, local Bal Harbour police told him to get lost.
He persisted, citing the federal code. The Police called the FBI,
who also said he would not be able to serve papers to Reno.
Klayman spells this obstruction of justice.
"When the Attorney General herself fails to obey the law and
obstructs justice by refusing service of process, it's clear that
our justice system has tanked," Klayman said.
