When finally apprehended, he gets hisself an old-fashioned City of Brotherly Love ass-whuppin’. What part of “don’t shoot a cop ... or else” is too complicated to understand? P.S. This incident has shown Jesse Jackson, Jr. to be as big a horse’s ass as his old man. Not to mention Al Gore. What a surprise. ********************* Free Jeff Jacoby Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby - a conservative working in a sea of left-wing liberalism - wrote a 4th of July column based on a story about the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence ... which has been circulated on the Internet extensively for years. Truth be told, in his column Jacoby actually tried to correct inaccuracies in the widely-distributed piece. But because he didn’t specifically identify the source material as being originally written by someone else (who, we doubt anyone knows for sure), the Globe suspended Jacoby for FOUR MONTHS without pay! Anyone who doesn’t believe this is the liberal mainstream press taking a cheap opportunity to exact vengeance on a conservative columnist probably still believes Bill Clinton “did not have sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky.” Yo, Jeff. They're four families who pulled their kids from government schools in the Berkeley (Kalifornia) Unified School District. The parents started educating these kids at home ... home schooling. Someone filed a confidential complaint against the home-schooling parents. The school board demanded to see evidence of their children's school attendance and the families' home-school curricula. The families complied...and shortly afterwards, the board notified the families that their case had been sent to the Alameda County District Attorney's office for criminal investigation. “Kudos to the Alameda County D.A., however, who said from the start that he wasn't going to be a puppet of the school board. He considered the case and decided not to pursue criminal truancy charges against the families. Now the families can continue to educate their kids as they see fit, and Berkeley school board officials have egg on their faces. “It's no secret that government educators don't like home schools. Lose a kid to home schooling and you lose control of that child. Because government school isn't about imparting knowledge anymore--it's about control ... it's about indoctrination .... and it's about keeping the American sheeple ignorant.
