And wasn't it convenient that a U.S. Navy carrier task group just *happened* to
be in port when this "accident" took place? More questions: why did the plane
circle the airport twice and then suddenly plunge into the ocean? Why was there
no mention by the aircraft's crew of any problems in their communications with
the controllers? And a biggie: why was the presence of the (unnamed) courier on
the Gulf Air plane announced only AFTER the dispatch of a team from the U.S.
National Traffic Safety Board (otherwise known as the Flight 800 Coverup Team)?
And another biggie: couriers normally *handcuff* their "pouches" (usually
briefcases of some kind) to their wrists, and don't unlock them--sometimes
*can't* unlock them--until they reach their destinations. The only ways,
therefore, in which this particular courier could have lost his pouch with the
classified material would have been: (1) he unlocked the handcuff himself before
the crash; (2) the force of the crash tore the pouch off of his arm, presumably
tearing his hand or arm off in the process; or (3) SOMEONE removed the pouch
from the courier's body while the body was still in the water and before the
body had officially been "recovered."
