Yes, Lucius, of course, is one of the epithets of Apollo, the Sun
"god", from the Latin "lux, lucis" (light). Apollo is a Greco-Roman analog
to Lucifer, the Light-Bearer. The Latin word "lucius" is related to the
Greek word "lykos", meaning "wolf", an animal sacred to Apollo. (This
accounts for the improbable prominence of Wolf Blitzer at CNN.)
