Religions are entirely invented., and all religious offices are by their nature fraudulent. Any of the mainstream churches/faiths has enough 'real' schisms to throw doubt on their authenticity. A mentally ill person with a bible can (and frequently does) declare themselves to be the Messiah and who are we to doubt them?
