Insted, Toluene is nail pollish remover and airplane model glue (i.e., a
common plastics solvent).
Unless things in the dry cleaning industry have changed A LOT since I was
in college, Carbon Tetracloride is what is used in the the industry.
On second thought, however, I guess the dry-cleaning industry very well may
have changed over the last 20 years (to less hazardous solvents) because
"Carbon Tet" *IS* extremely toxic, an extreme bio-envirinmental hazard
(i.e., EXTRELY expensive to dispose of ... or recycle?), and carcinogenic??
