This mirrors my reactions to these books exactly. Alien Agenda was
coherently impressive; it pulls together many alien experiences into an
intelligible pattern. Rule by Secrecy, on the other hand, was so rife with
misreadings of the original texts (which as an academic historian I have
first-hand familiarity with), that most of its assertions are based on
falsity, at least mistaken understanding. I would steer people away from
Rule by Secrecy, and would advise them to read Alien Agenda, esp if they
need an intro to the alien phenomenon.
