-Caveat Lector- I find this very, very upsetting. There are still operatives inside this country attempting to complete their mission! I think this is how they get on the desired flight. Check into another flight and when it lands, they are already inside security and have access to the truly targeted flight. Please keep in mind that these are suicide bombers and are not interested in leaving. So what if they had not been detected and the flight took off with them aboard? Was it time for the West Coast attack? And are there others? And they must be really trained with knives. Now I have read that they knew which airports had lax security. Must have tested. But I cannot board a plane in Huntsville, Nashville. Birmingham or Atlanta without being given a hard time about everything from keys to buttons to metal hairbrush. Maybe I should develop an accent (Arabic) and wear a turban and have those Charlie Manson eyes that seem to lull security officers into a coma! What is wrong with these people! Well, a weapon can be made from melting the bristles of a toothbrush into a blade. A thick glass bottle of perfume can be broken crating a glass shard possibly superior to a boxcutter. If these things occur to me while home baking my brownies, I am relatively certain they would to the terrorists, too. And the only flights I have ever been on with a Sky Marshall, and I can only remember two on which I was aware of this, he was dressed in regular civilian clothing and the idea was that no one would know who he was.
