Ken,

Thank you for your note.  I had read the company's recanting on its website.

I remain very concerned that prior to the WTC terrorist attack your company apparently had this policy of prior speech and expression restraint.  And that the edict from your CEO has not been rescinded.  Accordingly I wonder what other policies your management has.  I see a pattern of First Amendment abuse.

To sacrifice freedom of association and freedom of expression to vague, freefloating fear of those who are overly sensitive is counterproductive to say the very least.   What confidence could be placed in a corporate management which protects those who would insensibly assert that the flag of their country is "divisive"?  Who are so unattached to reality that they would straigt-facedly cry crocodile tears that they are "offended" by seeing that flag?   What the heck does this say about your company??  It is still unbelieveable to me that this happened.  I can posit:  if Management is that afraid of the sentiments of its own employees, those it depends on to make it money and profit, then the employees have an equally intense disesteem for Management.

Per the CEO's memo:
"[Anything] that could [mean different things to different people] [is] not appropriate in our work environment," wrote Chief Executive Officer Bill Schrempf in a memo to employees, according to the Palm Beach Post.

That is what your CEO has said, in writing.

May God Bless America and put a stop to such persecution of patriots in this great land as shown by NCCI.

NCCI has changed its position on flags in its workplace and offered any
employees who wanted them American flags and red-white-and blue lapel
ribbons at a 11AM meeting of all NCCI employees.   Thank you!

I urge you to ask management of your company to reverse its actions in
banning flags on its premises.

NCCI is about to be made the laughingstock of this country and a
target for hatred.  I know I at this time hold it in the highest of
contempt for this action.  What NCCI managers have done is heinous
       and unforgiveable.

If I do not hear of a change of heart I am going to try my best to
boycott NCCI products, and have others do so, too, in hopes that
your company will go out of business.

I am not blaming anyone individually except the one(s) at the top
who gave this order and any  who acted on their own to carry out
       such a heinous initiative.

I do hope that, just as the WTC tragedy has brought this entire
country together it will galvanize NCCI employees to stand up for
the liberty they have in our borders.  Until then, I don't see that
any NCCI employee can trust its management for any reason
       whatsoever.

As he died to make men holy,
Let us die to make men free
       GOD, BLESS AMERICA
