Hope someone runs a good check on them for you know some of these contracts often deserve a little checking When I was in the Mayor's Office, as Secretary to a Board of Control - we always gave to best and lowest bidder - not once, did we deviate from this policy......took the Mayor, City Attorney to agree to the bids. So how these bids are handled I do not know inasmuch as often bids now are - well special privileges given to minorities and all that crap. Noted today how this one big contract to do with World Trade Center went to this Mafiaso contractor and it is said John Gotti was so mad he had him murdered....must put that out on web. Just skimmed it but I think the fine hand of John Gotti - well someone got a big job laying drywall ????
