A new study of the Florida ballots shows that Al Gore was the choice of Florida’s
voters, whatever standard for counting chads is used. Gore prevailed over George W.
Bush, even without taking into account the thousands of votes Gore lost through other
irregularities.
Yet, the major news outlets -- apparently out of "patriotism" -- have decided to spin
the findings as a Bush victory. They've done that by focusing on two hypothetical,
partial vote counts, while ironically ignoring a third hypothetical: how the U.S.
Supreme Court's ruling might have given Gore the victory if the clock had not run out.
