street, US corporate demand for H-1B visas was up 14% from 2000. The
US is in a recession and 342,035 were applied for. 50% went to China
and India for computer related jobs. 163,200 were accepted, up 40%,
after Congress, under pressure from the technology industry, raised the
cap. This is disgusting.

return as the guest on line in the New York Times Drug Policy Forum
this evening at 8pm EST.

I will be responding to Forum participants questions.
I hope to touch on efforts of America's leadership during the Clinton
Administration --- continuing in the Bush Administration --- to slow down
broad based community access to reengineering tools and skills necessary to
ensure employment and financial sustainability in the face of anticipated
movement of bank and corporate employment and government and
pension capital offshore.
I will "connect the dots" between layoffs, immigration of high tech
workers, and the War on Drugs ("the HUD-Harvard-DynCorp Connection") and
why the Department of Justice is letting Enron shred documents
and move money and assets off shore without interference from
federal investigators.
My goal is to help create a map and process that will "play to win" on the
deterioration of our Bill of Rights AND help us reengineer the financial
system back to one with integrity --- by each one of us taking
back our neighborhood and networking with the other 63,000 neighborhoods
in America and the millions globally.
