come on bill – this war is being fought with guns and explosives. Training children to hate and fight is easy, and putting stones in their hands makes for great news footage, but lets not forget that behind the kids with stones are men with guns and bombs.

The land was not stolen by the Israeli's. It was given it to them by the Empire in control at the time – Britain. There was no “Palestine” or “Palestinians” until the British created them. (same as Israel)

I don’t think it’s a dumb question – what sort of govt. would/will the PA provide? These is a real dearth of models for a democratic Islamic – Arab government. I really don’t know – depends what criteria you use to judge if someone’s life is better.
