Woah woah woah, I'm not insinuating anything about any specific people on the list. But how many of those 500 people on this list do you know personally? You sure as shit don't know me from the pope. For all you know I could be a fledgling terrorist, full of ideals and the dedication to kill for those ideals. I am in no way suggesting that people should be stopped from posting whatever they want on this list. I would just hope that the people who do so would take into account that potentially dangerous material is exactly that, potentially dangerous and as such should be treated with caution. To use a metaphor, would you leave an unmarked bottle of bleach within easy reach of a young child? No, because the young child would probbaly drink the bleach and its off to casualty in an ambulance. Posting instructions on weapons construction (even if faulty, in fact especially if faulty) on a public forum with no regulation puts a metaphorical bottle of bleach within arms reach of anyone with a computer with a modem. Maybe I overeacted, but this touches a raw nerve with me. When I was still in school at the age of 15, me and some mates came across one of these "anarchists cookbooks" online and were pretty impressed. Subsequently I blew a massive hole in my mums kitchen worktop making smoke bombs and nearly killed myself. It was stupid, I know that now, you know that now, but at 15 it seemed like a cool idea. I apologise for calling iggy an idiot, it was over the top and silly to get so worked up about it. Sorry but missing bodyparts can do that to you. The second amendment doesn't just cover firearms, it covers all forms of arms. Tench Coxe called it "the birthright of an American"." Very nice, in that case then knowledge of weapons and war should be taught to all Americans as a matter of course, that would be a good thing. However, as it stands now, only those who specifically want to know this stuff will find it out. I'd imagine a fair few of those people want to know that stuff for reasons othre than the purely academic.
